Mixed Signal/RFCMOS


Applications such as WLAN, Bluetooth, 3G, Gigabit Ethernet, and portable communications devices are fueling the demand for advanced Mixed Mode/RFCMOS processes. UMC's Mixed Mode/RF platform is based on our standard logic process to deliver a high performance, low cost solution for SoC designs. Features include high speed RF N/PMOS, high gain I/Os, an advanced RF model with multi-dimensional device scaling range, high precision poly resistors, and a high tuning ratio varactors. UMC's Mixed Mode/RFCMOS technology is supported with our Foundry Design Kit, a user-friendly platform that intergrates schematic entry, simulation, layout editor, parameter extraction, and layout check all together in one package. Our unique Virtual Inductor Library is also integrated with UMC's RF Foundry Design Kit, and provides fast inductor simulation for RF designers who can now design an optimized inductor within a few minutes.
